Fragments and details
The first human figure, shown standing on the left-hand side of the painting, has been given an oval-shaped face, seen from the front, and thick arms composed of rounded forms. She holds –hung from the index finger of her right hand– a botijo, a ceramic vessel of similarly rounded contours.
The second human figure, seated in profile on the right, is one of predominately angular forms, recalling the hieratic figurative style of ancient cultures.
